Choose one questions:

Analyze a specific scene from the film–any scene except the infamous shower scene–and detail how the particular props, setting, costume, film lighting, or editing creates tension surrounding the serial killer at the center of the film. At the start of your video, identify the scene for us.
Why does Norman Bates kill? Choose a path that demonstrates what you feel the social psychology, criminal justice, film analyst, or literary perspectives might be from these any of these disciplines. This question may allow you to show some of your own experience or knowledge from other coursework.
Discuss one of the dominant motifs or visual themes that Hitchcock constructs within the film: birds, taxidermy, money, or eyes. How do these themes allow us to see Norman as both harmless and terrifying? What does your theme hide about the serial killer? What does your theme reveal about the serial killer?
